Horrible spa experience!!!! Went to the spa for a day to enjoy it with my daughters. Had a problem with the jacuzzi! They told my 14 year old and 16 year old daughters to leave the jaquzzi because they were under 18 years old. They never ASKED or TOLD us about the policy! And the manager is horrible! When we talked to him about the situation he was no help! This was our experience and was very unhappy with it!

I ended up asking for a manager since the lady checking me out didn't seem to care.

Worse yet, I went to front desk to check out and 1) "for my convenience" 20% gratuity was already included and 2) when I explained how bad the massage was she said "I'm sorry to hear that, sign here" and that was the end of it.

I am just so happy to have experienced this spa! The entire atmosphere down to the tonality of the staff was so soothing. I will be returning soon! This time with others. Forbes made no mistake in giving this place 5 stars! My massage therapist Daniel was amazing! and so was another young lady, her name was Tai! I suggest all of you reading this to use Daniel as your masseuse and Tai as your tour guide!

So disappointed. To celebrate my moms birthday I decided to book us appointments at the Eau spa, as we live locally. As we arrived we were takin to a desk to fill out information cards. The women then confirms our 12:00 massage appointments and 1:00 pedicures. Ok I think nothing of it. We finish our massages and sit in the waiting area to be called in for our pedicures. come to find out when my mom is called back for her pedicure there was a mistake with booking. They said her appointment was for 1:00 and mine was for 2:15. Now why would I book our pedicures at different times. The whole reason we were there was to celebrate my mothers birthday. Ok so a manager comes in and apologizes for the mistake she doesn't know why this happened. Offers me a facial and I say no it's ok I'll just sit with my mom while she gets her pedicure being that I'm there to spend time with her. Not only that but I understand mistakes happen. (Although I got the feeling someone else had priority). Then they insist again that I let them make up for their mistake. Ok I finally agreed to a blow dry. I was disappointed that this happened but it was my moms birthday and I didn't want to get to upset about it. From there we enjoyed a nice lunch. I even looked up hotel accomadations for my husband and I to spend our anniversary here next month. Being that we had a nice relaxing time. That was Until we go to check out and I have a 75 dollar charge for a blow out on my bill. I tell the young girl at the desk what happened and she get a manager. So I tell the manager what happened. She tells me she can not take it off all she can do is 10% off the blow dry. I tell her it's unacceptable. I did not want the blow dry but you all insisted that I allow you to make us for this mistakes. So she goes into her office and comes out and says she can take 50 dollars off the blow dry. But not the whole thing. I tell her I don't think you understand what's going on here and I at this point I am so annoyed but I dont want to make a scene because it's my moms birthday and what's 25dollars. But it's the principle. Not to mention we are at the "eau spa". She disappears again and returns with confirmations of our appointments I assumed at this point she realizes this was their mistake and so she takes off the price of the blow dry. I still paid a gratuatity, as I planned too. I wish I could explain how rude this women was handling the situation and how embarrassed I was. But more embarrassed for the spa as to how she handled it. I hope the hotel looks into this further as Charlotte could use some training on how to better handle situations like this.

My wife who is in the aesthetics business and has visited spas all around the world says that Eau Spa is the best she's every been to. The staff are expertly trained and well educated in all services and products. Not one tiny detail of pampering is overlooked. Well done!!!

Wow, what a bad experience at such a nice hotel. Check-in was ok, fairly normal. They made me fill out information they already knew about me but no big deal. The facility was beautiful and the treatment started on time. My masseuse was horrible. I got the impression she was new to this profession. She had long fingernails that scratched me, she seemed in a rush and there was no method to her madness. I go to spas often and this was the worst of them to date.
